Seriously, all this talking about Google+ being a ghost town and Facebook having 850 millions active users. I think it's the other way around. Why? Because on Facebook you are allowed to autopost, not on Google+. Here we must manually curate our posts. So we need to be active here. On Facebook you can be a passive user and autopost content and still be counted as an active user…. That is so wrong.

    ugh.
all of these manipulations of data.
I cannot tell the difference between politicians and tech-talkheads.

yes, one has to come to Google to be active,
but then Google counts now YouTube as activity on G+.
the counts on facebook does not also have any sense of "interest in being on facebook" behind them.

this game can go on forever.
lesson: you cannot code up a social network.
so Google, hopefully, learns from that,
and see if they give it the time to nurse it.
    facebook grew the right way,
    and not instantaneously —
that is the biggest kudos I can give facebook.

But we all need a little flame now and then. :)

I look at it this way. Hang out where you are most comfortable. Don´t think too much about ROI and business.
Facebook is fine for some and not for others. The same goes for G+ or Twitter.
