[ the joy of pretentious titles ]

On the way to my house there´s this abandoned property where only the gates are left. No fence. No nothing. Every now and then, especially after watching a horror movie I have to stop and take a picture.

I want to live there. On the top floor. Sitting on the fire escape with a cup of coffee. Listening to the citys’ noise. Watching a bird pass by.

I got a new camera, the 5D MK3. It´s pretty amazing but even though I´ve been using Canon cameras for years it feels like starting all over again with a new camera. Strange. I also got the 24-70 mm lens and it´s nothing short of awesome. When in Thailand recently I practically didn´t change lenses for more than a few times. This one covers so many needs when on the road. Of course depending on what you are shooting etc. But still. I am amazed!

There´s something about wandering around a city at night. Although this being a business and shopping area fairly newbuilt it had some appeal to me. Most likely mainly due to the fact that I really like neon signs and architecture.

This can be the outcome if you send a roll of film to beta75 aka Karl in Kalmar. After he double exposed it and then developed it we have coolness!

There´s something about the north facing room and how the light seems to gracefully fondle whoever happens to be in its way.

I play around a lot with the camera in my iPhone. It´s always with me and it´s a good way to keep the “photographic eye” alert even when you really are busy doing other stuff. Like work. Waiting for a meeting, being on the bus or in the car. It´s always time for a quick snap shot.

By chance I came across Printstagram and they have a fun variety of products for printing images from your Instagram flow. I decided on a calendar for 40 US dollar. And about a week later DHL knocked on my door with a neatly wrapped package. Inside were a calendar printed on nice paper and the images look great. Not all of the images are master pieces but I am more to blame for that rather than Printstagram.

I can highly recommend their service. It´s a fun gift for someone. And the calendar is a great way to browse through a ~ year of your iPhone playing around.

Jag fick förtroendet att fotografera Hoppoleks nya träningsmaskin för ett tag sedan. Hoppolek ger barn med funktionshinder möjlighet till fysisk aktivitet och rörelseglädje. Den meningen lånade jag från deras hemsida för den beskriver så bra vad det handlar om.

Det blev både produktbilder, actionbilder när olika barn och ungdomar tränade samt några porträtt på Ylva med kollegor.
