A velvet ocean of snow

Photographed a baptism on saturday. The priest was a fantastic, charismatic person. Sh brought all the kids up to help pouring the holy water into the baptismal font. She really made the event into something extra. The light in the church wasn´t the best and when I went there to check the church out a week ago a woman there told me I was not allowed to use a flash inside. Of course I was the only one not using a flash that day. On the other hand, I kind of like the light the way it came out.
It was a good day.

A return to Cairo. At least from a LightRoom browsing perspective.

A few days I wrote about the insecurities with creativity and how vulnerable it can be. I wanted to see if I could get a dialogue going. Thank you all for your wise, kind and thoughtful comments. They are much appreciated!
Another person who is great is my mother. I was there on sunday for dinner and it turns out she has saved every magazine (almost) that has my images published last year. She gave them all to me and carrying that pile home made me happy!

I have been looking at so many excellent pictures from great photographers lately that it seems as if I have lost track of what I want to do. What my own style is and what to do next. My creativity seems to go in circles like this. Ups and downs. I´m not that worried. Just have to wait it out, I guess.
What methods, if any, do you use for inspiration and keeping with the “path”?
Time for some changes around here. I moved my hosting to netzorz a good choice. I added a new theme to my wordpress in order to show images a bit larger. There are still tweaks to be made to the overall experience but I can´t wait to try it out :)
The image was taken in Bangkok rcently after a nice sushi dinner with a friend. She took me here because we needed some neon!
