Photographed a baptism on saturday. The priest was a fantastic, charismatic person. Sh brought all the kids up to help pouring the holy water into the baptismal font. She really made the event into something extra. The light in the church wasn´t the best and when I went there to check the church out a week ago a woman there told me I was not allowed to use a flash inside. Of course I was the only one not using a flash that day. On the other hand, I kind of like the light the way it came out.
It was a good day.

I love the light reflecting on the face of the baby.
The natural ambient light actually worked well for you here. I believe if you were able to use the flash, the flash would have overexposed many of your shots.
I like how you were able to get up close and personal in these shots. And the incorporation of the attendees in the background of the first photo really portrays them as participants rather than just observers.
Thank you Steven. I believe you are right about the flash overexposing for the most part and also a huge challenge in such a large room. There were times when I had to use longer times than ideal leaving me with a few unsharp and too dark images, that came out too artistic :).
I love the soft tones, warm light and mood in this superb picture!
Wow, wonderful reportage & such an inspired Light, gorgeous !
Nice reportage work here, your photo document of the baptism was great, even without reading the text your photos tell everything about what is going and your capture of the important moments is spot on.
